What’s humorous is that the “forever-tardy” person is usually always on time by a few minutes late, everyday. You can actually plan your time around their clock. Do they ever get it, that it would be wise to leave a few minutes earlier? Of course they do. I find it questionable that they are unaware; however, do they realize the imposition their actions could cause for others? They realize, but make no change.
Being late occasionally can happen to the most punctual; however, when one is always tardy, it poses the question, could their repeated actions really be a form of control or rebellion; because, it’s not that difficult to set your clock 10 minutes ahead if you find you’re just always that few minutes late. Therefore, one has to believe that these tortoises are self-absorbed and do not respect others’ time. These are the people that usually get the well-deserved invitation that reads the party starts at 5, when it really starts at 6.
